FOUNDATION

Ruby Dragon created the Ruby Dragon Foundation with the aim of helping small business enterprises get a head start and to promote regional economic development. The foundation funds and assists small businesses in setting up their own formal companies, such as helping them to register the company, obtain concessions, use appropriate technology and have access to experts such as geologists. The foundation also transfers knowledge to local people by educating them on the uses and functions of mined minerals. Most importantly, the foundation creates jobs for local people.

Aside from the foundation, the Ruby Dragon Group as a whole has subsidized electricity supplies in local communities and regularly donates to educational, social and community causes. The group has also paved roads, constructed bridges and improved the overall infrastructure of village areas. This results in better mobility in such areas, which then leads to increased access, improved flow of people and services, and other changes that directly benefit the stability and development of these communities.

To date, all donations from the Ruby Dragon Group of Companies amount to approximately US$ 10 million. We strive to continue our CSR work wherever our businesses take us.
